The original story (from October 15) follows:
Just in case you are one of those who are having connection or connectivity issues with FIFA mobile, know that the service has been deliberately taken down by the company to investigate some issues.
For some time now, FIFA Mobile users have been complaining about FIFA Mobile servers being down or having connection issues on the microblogging site Twitter. Here are some complaints for a quick overview:
Are you sure you fixed the bugs? Because my league tournament chance was lost and every time I try to play the game again it has to forfeit saying I have no connection. If you can’t fix the bug, remove it rather than just fooling users.
Hey, I didn’t get rewards for 3 H2H matches before the game ended… Will I get the rewards now? Or I have to continue the game because nothing happened.
@EAFIFAMOBILE @EAHelp Fifamobile is down. It would be better to delete the entire app than to have one half-baked.
As the complaints continue to snowball, what’s soothing is that EA is not only aware, but also working to fix the connection issues. Here’s what @EAFIFAMOBILE said during grateful the problem:
We are aware of connection issues occurring, as well as some in-game connectivity issues when completing certain activities. We are digging into the cause and will update you as more information becomes available.
Also they updated saying the game is in progress disassembled temporarily to diagnose the problem.
We will temporarily halt the game while we continue to investigate the current issue. We will provide updates as we have more information. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We are working to resolve these issues as quickly as possible.
We are monitoring the service providers’ social media channels closely and will share relevant developments with you as we come across them. So keep a tab of this space for the latest information on the matter.
