A new 4,700-acre planned community is coming to Fort Bend County, with a breakthrough date slated for the second quarter of this year.
Austin Point, from developer The Woodlands Signorelli Co., will be located at the future intersection of Grand Parkway and Fort Bend Parkway with an entrance to be located at FM 762 south of the freeway. 69 and George Ranch High School, according to a Jan. 20 news release.
“We are excited to bring new developments to the area and help meet the strong demand for quality places to live, work and play,” Signorelli Founder and CEO Danny Signorelli said in the statement. When complete, Austin Point will contain over 14,000 single-family homes with 15 million square feet of multi-family, office, medical, retail and hospitality properties spanning price points ranging from $270,000 to over $600,000. $, according to the release.
The community will focus on the outdoors, green space and nature with an array of natural amenities and hundreds of acres of green space and lakes, Signorelli said in the release. Quality of life will be another community objective.
