Developer Hillwood is heading to Denton County for its next apartment project.
Hillwood – which has a proven track record in multi-family projects in North Fort Worth and Frisco – is opening a rental community in Little Elm.
Called Union House, the project is located near the single-family home community of Hillwood Residential’s Union Park in the US Highway 380 corridor.
“We are thrilled to deliver our first phase of apartments in our Union Park planned community,” Hillwood’s Mark McHenry said in a statement. “The location provides residents with convenient access to major employment centers in the North Dallas Tollway and Highway 380 corridors, in addition to being close to various outdoor recreation facilities surrounding Lake Lewisville. “
The apartment community was designed by HEDK Architects and has seven buildings.
The community includes a coworking center with private offices and a conference room, a fitness center, a resort-style swimming pool, pet facilities, and electric vehicle charging stations.
The property is connected by walking paths to central Union Park with a food truck park, outdoor pavilion, and fishing pier.
Hillwood’s multi-family division has built hundreds of apartments in the developers’ massive AllianceTexas project in North Fort Worth.
And Hillwood recently began work on a 300-unit apartment community at the $1.8 billion Frisco Station on the Dallas North Tollway in Frisco.
The developer currently has over 3,000 luxury apartment residences slated for development.
The D-FW area is the nation’s largest apartment building market with over 42,000 units under construction.
