MINNEAPOLIS – The Litchfield boys’ basketball team had a rare thrill on Saturday, playing at Target Center, home of the NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves.
Litchfield defeated Zumbrota-Mazeppa 36-28, getting 14 points and 10 rebounds from Beau Weseloh in the victory.
The Dragons were leading 21-11 at halftime.
Kayden Rodrick scored 13 points to lead the Cougars.
The Dragons are back in the West Division of the Wright County Conference with a game against Annandale at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Litchfield. The Cardinals are 6-2.
