Three lucky mothers from Pulaski County will be blessed with a comeback program from the TG Howard Center.
“If you continue to serve with your right hand, you will always receive supplies in your left hand,” said the mother and grandmother of Stacy Arnold, a TG Howard Center volunteer who works on the Mother May I… . “That’s why it means so much to give back to mothers,” Arnold said.
This program aims to “pamper” three neighborhood moms for a day. Mothers will receive a new outfit from Cato’s, makeup, a photo shoot and a care kit containing locally donated items.
The goal is a “celebration of mothers during the month of May,” said the centre’s executive director, Guy Smith. “We want to recognize the unique pressures mothers have faced over the past two or three years.”
In previous years, care packages contained “fruit, candies, things like bath soaps that the mother can pamper herself with,” said Kim Matthews, a board member who oversees the program. .
The center will try to schedule the care so that the mothers can spend the day together instead of once a week in previous years.
Email the center at [email protected], comment on their post or send a message via Facebook Messenger to submit a name for the selection process.
The TG Howard Center will accept submissions until noon on Friday, May 6. Winners will be announced via Facebook on Mother’s Day.
