The artificial island arrived in Tower of Fantasyfrom update 1.5, and there’s no better way to get to know a new area than a collection quest. However, finding hidden resources in a new location can be quite overwhelming. So, to make it easier for you, read on to find out how to locate every Developer Log on the artificial island.
Where to find every Developer’s Journal on the artificial island in Tower of Fantasy
When you first visit the man-made island, your first mission will be to locate ten missing developer logs. While this quest is a great excuse to explore the new area, there are a few logs hidden in hard to reach places. The table below lists the location of the ten logs and a brief description of how you can get there.
|Developer log number||Location|
|1||The first dev log can be found once you arrive at the man-made island. Head from the airship to the small tree below. The development log is on the ground around the roots.|
|2||After collecting the first dev log, head down the stairs to the blue portal. This blue portal will take you to a lower ledge in the base. The developer log is located on the grassy ridge.|
|3||Upon exiting the camp you just teleported to, head west towards the large sign. The third Developer Diary is pinned in the center.|
|4||Go back to where you found the third developer’s journal and head west until you come across three pillars. You will find a selection of gray rocks to the left of the pillars. The next Developer’s Journal is behind the stone closest to the water.|
|5||After revisiting this area, head to Eyrie and travel west. You’ll come across a Hyena Camp, and the Developer’s Journal is located in a wooden box on the lowest level. Once the box is broken, you can retrieve the log.|
|6||Following the location of Dev Log 6, head northwest towards a space rift. Instead of going in, walk past it and aim for the road intersection. The Developer’s Journal is in the center of the intersection, but there are several nearby enemies to defeat.|
|seven||Just before the sixth development diary is a small village, where the seventh development diary is located. Enter the village and cross the wooden terrace; the seventh development log is in the wooden crates north of the terrace.|
|8||Teleport to Base Zero’s space rift. From there, head east toward the river. Climb onto the crashed ship in the river and walk to the roof. There are several wooden barrels to smash, and one contains the eighth development journal.|
|9||Head south from the crashed ship to a second Hyena base. If you’re lost, it’s slightly west of the Mount Sandy heading on the map. Once you find the base, locate the truck towards the entrance and smash the surrounding barrels. Again, the Dev Log must be picked up from the ground.|
|ten||Return to Mount Sandy and climb to the top of the cliff where the pipe protrudes. There is an airborne station just above which can be a bit difficult to reach. The best way to get to the station is to use a jetpack, but once the jetpack runs out, switch to the cybernetic arm and grab the edge of the platform. When you finally land, there are four Treasure Guardians to defeat. The final Developer’s Journal can be found towards the north of the station.|
Once you’ve collected all the dev logs, return to Base Zero and hand in the quest. Since you are at level 60, you will unlock the game’s base building feature.
